It is quite attractive with light spots contrasting nicely against its dark body color. They have an interesting body shape and are one of those fish which cause people to do a double take when they see them for the first time. These fish are hardy and will do well in a wide range of water parameters. Setup Considerations: They will appreciate a dark place to hide between forays out to forage for food. Specific Care Requirements: A hardy fish without any particular requirements. Diet: Omnivore. These will eat pretty much any aquarium fare as long as it is on the bottom of the aquarium.
