Steel Blue Apistogramma Juvenile

These little guys were bred and raised in my fishroom and are 1", give or take a bit. An amazing little dwarf cichlid with a mysterious past. No one knows for sure where these originated. Some folks think they exist in the wild. Others think that they are a hybrid of some kind. Either way, they are a neat addition to community aquarium with peaceful inhabitants. In typical Apisto fashion, each fish will stake out a small territory, so having lots of plants, decorations, or other line-of-sight breaks is helpful. I can't sex these fish at this size.
