They don't bother other fish and do well in a peaceful community aquarium with appropriately sized tank mates. These are not fast swimmers and prefer to eat at the bottom or mid-region of the tank, so be aware of tank mates that are too food aggressive. Setup Considerations: There are some reports of these being jumpers. This usually seems to occurs in the first few weeks when they are still settling into a new tank. Keeping a tight lid or lowering the water level in the tank while they are getting used to a new home will help keep them in their aquarium.
