Despite what the internet says, it appears that this species grows to a body size of 3" -3.5", not the 2.4" commonly reported. Several pleco experts and breeders have now confirmed this, and it has been our experience as well. Still a great fish, and 3" to 3.5" is still small for a pleco, but it is not as "mini" as often reported on the internet. Diet: Carnivore These are eating well on frozen foods. In our experience, it is easy to train them to take sinking pellets and wafers as well.
