These freshwater puffers from Africa are a holy grail in the puffer world. This is one of the few species of puffers that is considered peaceful. They can be kept solo or in groups as long as there are several to disperse aggression. Setup Considerations: These puffers are very curious and like to explore structures in the water, so the more hardscape, plants, nooks, and crannies available for them to scan, the more enriched their lives will be. Diet: Carnivore These guys are currently eating frozen bloodworms, live shrimp, live ostracods, and live snails. They can be trained to eat Hikari Vibra Bites, Xtreme Monster Pellets, and Repashy foods.
