That is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this fish. The second thing that comes to mind: Fresh Water. Unlike most puffers, this species can be kept together in groups and with other community fish. And they can be kept in fresh water for their entire life. This makes them, along with Tetradon schoutedeni, a delightful anomaly in the world of small-ish puffers.

All of our puffers are de-wormed upon arrival.
Setup Considerations:
These puffers are rapid swimmers, so room to roam is helpful. They are also very curious and like to explore structures in the water, so the more hardscape, plants, nooks, and crannies available for them to scan, the more enriched their lives will be. Without places to explore, they are likely to spend a great deal of their time glass surfing, especially for the first couple of week after being moved into a new environment. Glass surfing is not necessarily harmful behavior, but many fish keepers prefer their puffers don't do it, or don't do it often.
Diet: Carnivore
These guys are currently eating frozen bloodworms, live shrimp, live ostracods, and live snails.
